Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes\, of Gentiles also\, since God is one; and he will justify the circumcised on the ground of their faith and the uncircumcised through their faith. Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary\, we uphold the law. What then shall we say about Abraham\, our forefather according to the flesh? When he came down from the mountain\, great crowds followed him; and behold\, a leper came to him and knelt before him saying\, “Lord\, if you will\, you can make me clean.” And he stretched out his hand and touched him\, saying\, “I will; be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him\, “See that you say nothing to any one; but go\, show yourself to the priest\, and offer the gift that Moses commanded\, for a proof to them.”

Καὶ ἰδοὺ λεπρὸς ἐλθὼν προσεκύνει αὐτῷ λέγων· Κύριε\, ἐὰν θέλῃς\, δύνασαί με καθαρίσαι. καὶ ἐκτείνας τὴν χεῖρα ἥψατο αὐτοῦ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς λέγων· θέλω\, καθαρίσθητι. καὶ εὐθέως ἐκαθαρίσθη αὐτοῦ ἡ λέπρα. καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς· ὅρα μηδενὶ εἴπῃς\, ἀλλὰ ὕπαγε σεαυτὸν δεῖξον τῷ ἱερεῖ καὶ προσένεγκε τὸ δῶρον ὃ προσέταξε Μωσῆς εἰς μαρτύριον αὐτοῖς.
